The Clintonville Farmers’ Market will be on Saturday, November 21st from 9:00 a.m. until noon. This “Harvest Market Day” is the absolute last day of the Clintonville Farmers’ Market for this year. There won’t be another until…early May, I think.
For those of you that work downtown visit Pearl Market for those last minute Thanksgiving purchases. This is Pearl Market’s first year doing an indoor winter market, and it seems a lot of the regular customers at the outdoor, summertime Pearl Market still haven’t heard that the market is inside now. It’s on the first floor at 20 East Broad Street from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays.
I’ve already commented on the split before, but ODOT just keeps doing more to prove that they’re a villain and are hostile towards the revitalization of our urban core and all the hard work that is being done.
Columbus Underground reported yesterday that the Capital Crossroads Special Improvement District (SID) has received a $490,000 US Department of Energy grant for various bicycle parking facilities in downtown parking garages. This is great news since secure bike parking is often one of the major barriers to getting more people to commute to work by bicycle.

I don’t think I ever had a problem with congestion at the old intersection, but maybe I just wasn’t traveling at the right times. It must have been bad if they spent $41 Million to fix it. Enjoy the faster travel times.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Just in time for the busy holiday season, travelers at Port Columbus International Airport will have an easier time getting around, 10TV’s Jeff Hogan reported.
The Ohio Department of Transportation on Monday reopened an interchange at Stelzer Road, after two years of construction.
In many instances, I’ve been impressed with some of the parking-related adjustments that have come out of City Hall lately.
The scooter & motorcycle parking initiative that was rolled out last year was done in a swift and effective manner to provide not only additional parking revenue for the city, but also to provide a progressive service to two-wheeler riders that has actually gotten a bit of national attention.
The city has also been testing a variety of new “smart” meters that accept credit cards, are solar powered, and have wi-fi functionality. Nice.
It’s been a while since I’ve taken the time to give a weekender update so I thought I’d throw one up here. I can’t really remember what went on Friday other than making a pizza (I love making pizza’s) but I think I got to bed nice and early so that was great. I don’t get nearly enough sleep these days and have to take advantage when I can.
I am writing this article in hope of getting some help, Help! The very people, agencies, cops, government that are supposed to protect. Are the very ones that are silently , invisably killing me and mine. Elderly mother living 20 acres for over 25 years, the local natural gasline co. puts a tower at end of her driveway. Health problems, Rashes. unexplainable doctors say. Animals developing diabities, and dying. The beam goes thru center of house, meeting two other beams. Triangled in center of towers. My sons live 18 miles away in small town of Yacolt, Wa. . Both their homes are in center of beams that turn like clockwork, constant radiation! Cancers constant and never ending illnesses poor immune systems.
