Local activist Jerry Doyle put in jail for 119 days for speaking out at Board of Education meeting
A local african-american man was just put in jail today for being out of order during a Columbus City Council meeting. He represented himself in court and Bob Fitrakis was handling his appeal. A week ago the jail refused to accept him because of health issues but today they locked him up for speaking his mind to the local government. He has a history of standing up to city council, see Christopher King's blogand this is a true violation of first admendment rights.
