Video inside lethal Israeli Gaza flotilla raid on Turkish ship released at UN; 1 hour video mirrored

Update: The full hour of unedited HD video is now available mirrored here (Vimeo | 1.4GB torrent). Journalists aboard the Turkish ship Mavi Marmara, part of the Gaza humanitarian flotilla, documented Israel's lethal military attack, and were able to smuggle out an hour of footage. The video is being released presently at a United Nations press conference by Iara Lee, a filmmaker from Cultures of Resistance (CulturesofResistance.org). Twin Cities Indymedia is helping mirror the High-Definition 1080P 16-minute edit of the Israeli attack.

FRIDAY JUNE 4TH: March to End the Siege of Gaza, Solidarity with Freedom Flotilla Activists

On Tuesday, Minnesotans entered Senator Amy Klobuchar's office to demand a political response to both the killings on the flotilla and the inhumane blockade of Gaza. This Friday, we will go to the MN trade office to demand an end to local economic relations between Minnesota and the State of Israel as part of a larger project of ending all US financial sponsorship of the Israeli war economy. The Minnesota Trade Office facilitates the relationship between Minnesota-based corporations and the State of Israel. In 2008, Minnesota companies made over $10 million on goods exported to Israel. (Photo: The aid ship MV Rachel Corrie is en route to Gaza undeterred by the flotilla attack.)

Minnesotan activist arrested, to be deported for solidarity work in Occupied East Jerusalem

Imprisoned American citizen and Minnesota resident Ryan Olander to be deported to the US after being arrested in Sheikh Jarrah, Occupied East Jerusalem, whilst visiting Palestinian family whose house has been taken over by Israeli settlers

Ryan was visiting the al-Kurds in the tent the Palestinian family built in their own backyard, after the recent setter take-over of a section of their house. At 1.15pm, 6 Israeli police walked into the tent, where Ryan was talking to the family members and drinking tea, and took him for questioning at the Russian Compound police station in west Jerusalem.
