Jonathan Kozol was an early inspiration for me and thousands of others, even though he quit as a teacher very early on. Now, he has issued an “Education Manifesto.”
Eyes Wide Open: The human costs of the Iraq War
An exhibit put on by the American Friends Service Committee came to Columbus, Ohio.
It was a display of the boots of fallen soldiers and the shoes of Iraqi civillians who have died since the war in Iraq was started.

Pro-war candidate John McCain will be speaking at Ohio State University.
