The Unemployed Need a Union of Their Own;
They Can Become a Powerful Ally of Labor

The NorthEast Anarchist Network is endorsing the "Self Described Anarchist Collective" and Global Justice Action calls for a diversity of tactics, including direct action, to disrupt the Spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank in Washington, DC.

Visteon, a company making car parts, has gone bust and the workers been sacked with no notice and only minimal redundancy payments. Many of them are on Ford contracts - Ford used to own Visteon. Demanding the redundancy terms that Ford workers would get if they lost their jobs, Visteon workers have occupied their workplaces in Belfast and at Enfield.
